Description:
The challenge here was to transform a Suburban Split level home into a more Modern looking environment. By integrating existing 4" x 4" posts, I counter-bored equally spaced holes to receive Stainless Steel round bars, for a clean, simple solution. A Black Patina flat bar provides a cap. Quite often, when working a "New" design into an older home—inventive solutions need to be created, to adapt to the existing conditions. Notice an example of this- in the lower left corner, the "small railing" beneath the tread of the the landing.
